The Ceiling detailed photographs

The Wheelergate, Nottingham Ceiling
at the workshops of Messrs Taylor Pearce.
New Cross, London.

In the course of Restoration.

Some detailed photographs taken by the author.

Showing the Coat of Arms of the Bradylls of Brockholes, Lancashire.

Much of the perhaps 30 layers of paint has been removed revealing the original unusual oil painted finish.
It has received some damage over the centuries but given its history is surprisingly complete.

Close up of the ceiling showing the Coat of Arms of the Bradylls of Brockholes.

NB. The Bradyll boar.
